Thank you fans

Hello fans, it's me, Jose.

Well my friends, it is with a heavy heart that I note the end of the season. The hot tub water is cold, my friends, so cold.

It was tough to lose that game. Worse still is that I heard the Cardinals were chanting my name in their locker room after they beat us. I have no idea why they would do that.

As you fans know, in the 7th game, bottom of the 4th, I was struck by a pitch that hit the ground in front of the plate and bounced up and hit me in the face. Or actually, my complement of facial hair took the brunt of it, saving my face. That's the good news. But the bad news is, the mustache has sustained heavy damage. Tomorrow, I undergo reconstructive surgury on my mustache. The doctors say there's a 50-50 chance it will regain its normal lustre and shine. I am a little frightened, but with your love and support I will pull through.


I do not know what the off-season will bring, as I have declared myself an agent of freedom, but as always, I thank you for your support.
